Road Steel introduces RecoRail, the new sustainable safety barrier
Road Steel Engineering introduces RECORAIL, a new and innovative safety barrier that combines cutting-edge technology with sustainability. In partnership with Solteco, Road Steel has developed this barrier using non-recyclable plastic for the traffic-facing side, repurposing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or incinerated.
The RECORAIL barriers are made with high-quality hot-rolled steel sheets, either galvanized or corrosion-resistant, ensuring long-lasting performance and adherence to European standards. This unique combination of materials offers both strength and environmental benefits, making RECORAIL a standout solution in road safety.
The RECORAIL line currently includes two models: the S2R-N2 and S4R-N2, designed to provide reliable safety while also contributing to the reuse and recycling of materials. This initiative is part of Road Steel Engineering’s broader commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 13 and 15 set out in the 2030 Agenda, focusing on climate action and the protection of terrestrial ecosystems.
With RECORAIL, Road Steel Engineering continues to lead the way in sustainable innovation, offering solutions that not only enhance road safety but also help protect the environment.
